Polite and memorable service, comfortable and immersive ambiance, exceptional offerings, well-maintained, excellent value, and charming. We visit Majer multiple times each visit to Venice.
Majer has multiple locations, but we tend to gravitate to their location just north of the Ponte dei Pugni (bridge) on the south side of Rio Terá Canal (street). Majer is among our favorite morning stops for a breakfast snack, and cappuccino. This is a morning ritual type of place for us where we walk to Majer, get our cappuccino’s, perhaps a pastry, then stand out front at the little counter they have there and enjoy the breakfast snack and drink. When we are done, we take our empty cups back inside, thank them again, and wander off into the streets of Venezia.
Be sure to not feed the pigeons or other birds, as they tend to get curious and try wandering inside.
With so many great options for quick cappuccino’s throughout Venezia, and most of Italy for that matter, Majer does stand out as a very personal and well done establishment. The staff are all friendly and responsive, and the food and drink are near perfection.
