Wailua Shave Ice – Kapa’a

Located on the east side of Kaua’i, Hawai’i, in Kapa’a, on the ma’uka (towards mountains) side of Kuhio Highway 56, Wailua Shave Ice is a great place to cool off and to maybe learn the Hawaiian word of the day.

The “Triple Coconut” is coconut milk, haupia foam, and roasted coconut flakes. Make it even better by snow capping it and adding mochi on the side.

The “Almond Joy” is coconut milk, chocolate sauce, roasted coconut flakes, and almonds. Some may say the only way you can improve it is by snow capping it and adding haupia foam, and perhaps adding mochi.

“Da Ube One” is for the adventurous. It is Ube and coconut milk, ube foam, and roasted coconut flakes. It already has the ube foam! Feel free to add mochi on the side.
