Located on the ma’kai (towards the ocean) side of Hana Highway, on the northern outskirts of Pa’ia, on the north central portion of Maui, Ho’okipa Park or Ho’okipa Beach Park, is a great place to relax, surf, watch the turtles and sea life, or just be. It has been and continues to be a great place for various surf competitions. When it is busy, parking is fun. It can also be a great place to hang out later in the evening.
